Starbucks at 501 5 Cities Drive, Pismo Beach, California.

I go into this Starbucks every week, usually on Thursdays. Today, I had a very demeaning experience:
Racial Profiling.
I walked into the store and spoke English the entire time and the barista decided to speak to me in Spanish. I continued to respond to him in English until finally I decided to speak up and ask why he was speaking to me in Spanish. He proceeded to say that it was because of my ACCENT and that he was from Mexico too. Let's begin with the fact that I AM NOT FROM MEXICO and end with how horrible the service was that I continued to receive right up to the end. To make matters worse, he ended up cowering somewhere in the back and someone else ended up having to take control of the situation that he had created. I hope no one else has to experience this ignorance.
